Title: The Story of Yu Gong and the Mountains
Yu Gong was an old man who lived in a village surrounded by two large mountains. These mountains blocked the way to the outside world, making it difficult for villagers to travel. One day, Yu Gong decided to remove the mountains with his family.
He said, “I will dig these mountains until they are gone. Even if I die, my children will continue. And when my grandchildren grow up, they will also work on it.” His neighbors laughed at him, thinking he was foolish.
But Yu Gong kept working every day. Years passed, and the mountains remained. However, one day, the gods were moved by his determination and sent two spirits to move the mountains away.
In the end, the path was cleared, and the villagers could travel freely.
